To start with, the Junior, Senior and Primary School Divisions held a flag-raising ceremony in the athletics field to commemorate the 92nd anniversary of the September 18th Incident. Accompanied by the majestic national anthem, the bright five-star red flag rose slowly. For one thing, the theme of Zhang Yi's speech, who is from Class 2, Grade 11 is ‘Remember History, and Do not Forget National Humiliation’. For another, the theme of teacher Chen Lina's speech, who is with the Primary School Division, is ‘Never Forget Humiliation, and Love My Country’. Furthermore, they respectively elaborated on the concepts of ‘not forgetting national humiliation, revitalizing China, and working hard to learn for the rise of the Chinese nation.’ Additionally, according to the unified deployment of the municipal government, the air raid sirens were sounded, the security alarm bell was ringing, and all the teachers and students of our school paid tribute to the revolutionary martyrs. 

To put it in a nutshell, ninety-two years have passed and we continue to review this history in order to let the new generation of young people not forget the national humiliation, so that they will take history as a mirror, deeply understanding the meaning that ‘a weak country is easy to be bullied. On the contrast, only when the country is rich and strong, can the people be happy’. Therefore, let us cherish today's happiness and contribute all our youth and strength to national prosperity and rejuvenation with practical actions!
